How to Create Forms with Multiple Columns

By default, there is only one field (one column) per row in a form. You can now have up to two or three columns in a row.

Having a row contain more than one field/column is done right in the form builder when building your form. To have multiple columns in a form:
  • Click the Create Form button on the Dashboard to create a new form or edit an existing form.
  • In the form builder, from the Drag &Drop Fields section on the left side of the page, click the Media & Structure section.
  • Click or Drag the Add Row field to the builder pane.
  • Drag the fields you will like to have as multiple columns into the added row. Drag the first field and drop it into the added row (it will fill up the entire row), then drag the second field and drop it into the same row (the first field will adjust to fit the second field). If you want up to three fields in the row, drag the third field and drop in the row also (the existing two fields will adjust to fit the third). Only a maximum of three fields/columns can be added per row.
  • Follow the step above to add another row with multiple fields/columns.
  • You can add single rows (default) to the form also. It is not necessary to add a row for single fields/columns. Click or drag and drop the field directly to the builder pane instead.
  • Remember to click the 'Save Form' button at the top-right of the page to save your changes or new form.
Please note that the following fields are not supported for multi-columns and will therefore not be added to a row when you try to drop it in a row:
  • Description field
  • Section Header field
  • Add Row field
  • Matrix field
